Many of the designs and ranges at Silverburn Browbands have been designed by ourselves and we own the design rights and copyright on the designs and ranges. The designs and final pieces are the result of creative skill, significant labour & investment into the products we create and sell. It is illegal to copy our designs and UK law is very unforgiving on infringement of this. We take this matter very seriously. You may view, download and print pages from this website for your own personal use, however, you must not

Our Policy, Terms & Conditions
All bespoke orders are required to be paid in full before any order is started. On occasion (for large orders/trade orders) this may be negotiated at the discretion of Silverburn Browbands and invoiced with terms of 30 days NET. When placing an order for bespoke items, you will be quoted a price and upon acceptance, you will be entering a consumer contract which is a legally binding agreement concerning the sale and supply of our goods and services. Should the consumer fail to make payment for these goods and services, Silverburn Browbands reserve the right to cancel any outstanding invoices and cancel any outstanding orders.
Silverburn Browbands try to remain as competitively priced as possible and actively try to absorb material price and postage increases where it is possible to do so. Where prices are subject to change to conform with industry regulations and over inflation to a point where the costs cannot be absorbed, Silverburn Browbands have the right to alter prices without any prior or written warning. Any price increase is kept to a minimum where possible.
Browbands from the ‘Ready to Go’ collection are all ready for immediate despatch. ‘Ready to Go’ browbands are usually dispatched and sent the same day where possible, if the order has been placed after the daily parcel collection cut off, items will be sent the following day.
The waiting time for all bespoke orders is approximately 4 weeks. This can increase at peak times of the season – although every effort is made to get through the order list as quickly as possible, however anything less is a bonus and speciafic dates cannot be committed to. It is our policy to make sure that each customer receives the same high level of service, therefore, everyone has their place on the orderboard and we do not invite orders which are at the detriment of our other customers. Please ensure you order your bespoke browbands well in advance.
All UK orders are sent as standard by First Class Royal Mail where possible. We frank our browbands and products ensuring they have a traceable barcode and require a signature upon delivery. The delivery time for this is 1-3 working days. Where it is not possible to use Royal Mail First Class, a suitable alternative 48 hour courier will be used and all tracking information offered to the customer.
A next day delivery service is offered using Royal Mail Special Delivery, Guarenteed before 1pm, orders must be placed by 2pm for this service.
Postage within Europe is sent fully traceable via Royal Mail.
International postage throughout the world is available using a fully tracked & signed for service, thus enabling us to trace the parcel from our local postal centre, to when it is signed for in it’s country of destination.
Warranties and Liability
Silverburn Browbands carry a full replacement warranty, limited to faulty workmanship. Our warranty does not cover damage due to shop soiling, neglect or misuse. It is recommended to Scotch Guard new browbands, however this is done at the retailers/consumers own risk. Always carry out a colourfast test in an inconspicuous area first. Should there be any problems with our browbands, please get in touch with us so that we can help resolve the problem if Silverburn Browbands are at fault.
Silverburn Canes come with a full replacement warranty, limited to Faulty Workmanship. Warranty does not cover damage due to neglect or misuse. Our show canes are decorative and will not withstand the treatment of synthetic whips. The Willow and Bamboo used with our canes is a product of nature and is subject to variations in colour, finish and straightness. It is not always possible to choose perfectly straight and evenly textured wood. The crystal tops are purchased at the consumers own risk. Silverburn Browbands will not be held responsible for lost or broken tops. If they are dropped or left for horses to eat they will break. It is recommended for the consumer to hang the cane with their show jacket
Silverburn Browbands work closely with our local trading standards office, and in compliance with consumer law, all items from the Ready to Go section of the website, including the Ready to Go, ready made browbands can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the invoice date, however, they must be returned unused, unsoiled and in their original packaging, unless faulty. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of food stuffs due to the nature of their contents.
Silverburn Browbands do not offer a refund on bespoke pieces, these very special browbands have been specifically made to customer requirements. If there is a fault in the product and the mistake lies with Silverburn Browbands, the item will of course be re-made and exchanged. Please ensure all measurements are correct before ordering as refunds and exchanges cannot be made with bespoke pieces if you have not measured correctly.
The refund will be the original purchase price and original postage cost. It is up to the customer to pay for any return postage on returned items. Once the item intended for return is received, a refund will automatically be issued.
We are proud to say our products are of the highest quality and as such, guarantee that if you are not satisfied with your Silverburn Browbands product we will do all we can to resolve any issues, seeking advice where appropriate.
