The lovely Bridget, and her daughter Kinvara joined Silverburn Browbands as brand ambassadors at the beginning of the 2015/2016 season following having been loyal customers of Silverburn Browbands for 5 years. Not only creating browbands for their outstanding collection of show ponies, but also for their racing shetlands too! Something which the Garner family are very passionate about!
17 year old Kinvara herself needs little introduction, she has won countless championships, supremes, qualifying for and winning at HOYS year after year and is a mini celebrity in her own right rubbing shoulders with some of the most famous people in the UK, not to mention riding for and producing ponies for Her Majesty, The Queen.
Kinvara’s mother Bridget is very well known within the showing and racing circles. Her family own the very well known Emral Stud standing national hunt stallions, and unknown to some, Bridget was a jockey herself and in fact, the only woman ever given a race ride by the legendary Fred Winter!
Kinvara’s father Sebastian can be found driving the horse ambulance at the Grand National, he is also chief steward at the Olympia, Royal Windsor Horse shows and is heavily involved with the Shetland Pony Grand National.
Bridget and Kinvara’s team browband design features lavish crowns and of course the mark of ER II. The history behind Kinvara’s showing attire comes from Bridget’s admiration of Her Majesty, the Queen’s Royal Household Cavalry in their crisp and exceptionally smart red and black clothing teamed up with silver and gold. Quite rightly so as the end result is fabulous and Kinvara never fails to look incredibly well turned out.
Kinvara rides and produces horses for Her Majesty, The Queen for her 3rd season in 2020. The browbands used by Bridget and Kinvara have been approved for use on Her Majestys horses by the Royal Household and therefore cannot and must not be re-produced unless at the discretion of the Royal Household and the Garner Family.
Silverburn Browbands have a great relationship with the Garner’s and are very proud to have both Kinvara and Bridget as part of the team.
